UrbanGreenSpot came about to fill the void in my life during endless job hunting. I grew tired of one sided emails and job applications and needed to get some substance and meaning back in my life. I decided to invest in a creative outlet for my passions. That outlet was the birth of UrbanGreenSpot.

As always in an effort to back up what we say at UrbanGreenSpot, this site is hosted using green technologies including  100% wind powered webhosting, Energy star and eco friendly monitors, green technology hard drives, and  80 PLUS Certified power supplies.

Justin Daubendiek-creator, administrator, writer.

I am recent college graduate of industrial technology and safety engineering, with a passion for new technologies, green living and environmental awareness. Upon graduation I have been shifting away from safety engineering towards the green technology revolution and environmental sustainability. I am eager to see the future advances in technology and energy. The recycling or reuse of one product/waste to make an entirely different and useful product could not make me more excited.

Having recently relocated to Chicago, IL, I am thrilled at the opportunity to become involved in new green and modern activities.  With inspiration all around me I hope to continue growing, learning and sharing in the green revolution.

Having the privilege of leaving college during the worst recession seen in years I have been out of reliable employment since mid 2009 and am open to employment offers and free lance opportunities.
